First Impression: LUSH Cosmetic Warrior Facial Combat

Aloha loveliesss!

I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend with your family and are prepared for another full week of school or work (BOO!) If you weren't able to see my lastest insta-haul post on Instagram, I basically posted a few drugstore items that I have been meaning to try as well as my first facial mask from Lush!

I must admit that I am a bit naive when it comes to showing my skin a little T.L.C.; besides my usual day/night routine. After trying the Cosmetic Warrior, I feel as if I should have tried the Cupcake facial mask (simply because it looks and smells like CHOCOLATE!)

Since the mask needs to be in the fridge or freezer, the coolness of the mask coming in contact with your skin for the first time is refreshing. However, the smell isn't as refreshing as it smelt while I was actually in the Lush store. The mask does have garlic in it and even if I do love garlic in my food, having it in your facial mask was so NOT the business. In fact, the smell turned me off so much that I was so excited to rinse it off once the 10 minutes were up. But don't let the smell scare you away from buying or trying this product.

If you suffer from oily t-zones, sensitive skin and nasty breakouts, this facial mask might just work for you! Follow the steps below to prepare your face for some serious facial combat which will leave you with "Gor-Jess" skin. (Insert 1st + 2nd picture of Cosmetic Warrior back-to-back)

Logistics:
  1. $6.95 for 2.1 oz
Ingredients:

  • Kaolin
  • Fresh Green Grapes
  • Fresh Free Range Eggs
  • Honey, Cornflour
  • Glycerin
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Tea Tree Oil
  • Perfume

Instructions:
Step 1 - Cleanse your face with warm water and your normal facial cleanser. When finished, pat dry with a towel.

Step 2 - Lather on a thin layer of Cosmetic Warrior onto your face. Be sure to avoid your eyes as well as your mouth. Although the product is vegan made, it probably won't taste good.

Step 3 - Wait for about 10 minutes. You should feel a nice pull to the skin of your face. Don't wait any longer than 10 minutes. Letting the mask completely dry on your face will be a terrible experience trying to get it off.

Step 4 - Rinse off with warm water, pat dry with a towel, complete your day/night cleanse with a toner and moisturizer.

And that's pretty much it! I've only tried it once so far and will probably complete the rest of my tiny tub sometime this week. However, i'm not looking forward to that garlic smell! But the brightening and tightening results of my skin is well worth the smell.

Have you tried the Cosmetic Warrior facial mask before? What did you like about it? If not, have you tried any other Lush products before? Go ahead and let me know down below in the comments area your recommendations :)
