I just wanted to share some pics with you from my last weekend at home which consisted of my dad's birthday and some weird cake...i'm laughing just by thinking about it, hahaha!
That's my dad. No, he doesn't really have the George Lopez head...but, that's him in his funny element. He's recreating "LOL"...if you couldn't tell by now.
You see that pan of cake? There's a story behind it...earlier that day, my dearest mother sent my sister and I to the store to buy some eggs. Unfortunately, the store ran out of eggs and the only thing left were egg beaters, the milk carton looking eggs. There were two different types: all natural (egg whites) or southwestern style eggs. Not thinking, we grabbed the southwestern eggs and come to find out...the cake had a southwestern spicy kick to it! There were even remnants of bell pepper in the cake! It wasn't bad, but it was...different. I'm sitting here giggling while trying to recall our faces after the first bite :p
And last but not least, the babies of the Garcia house. Meet Sam (right) and Lucy (left). They're airdale terriers and the cutest of the bunch. Although they are naughty, they are so loving and I'm glad we were able to give them a home. Don't mind our dirty "white" picket fence...the dogs did it.
